About Tekken 8
Anyone playing Tekken knows the series has more of a Dramatic Storyline. Tekken is one of the most instrumental battle franchises game. It popularized the video game genre among other behemoths. Tekken kept its own against the likes of Street Fighter and Mortal Kombat. Tekken 7 is 5 years old. It’s time to look at what Tekken 8 holds for us in the future.
Tekken’s plot is often based on patricide, family in-fighting, and ghosts. Tekken 8, no doubt, will continue this theme of violent melodrama. Thanks to a secret cutscene in Tekken 7, we have already seen a preview of what we might expect from the story.
Tekken 7 is the last chapter of the 20-year Mishima feud. Unveil the dramatic conclusion of the emotionally charged family battle between the rulers of the Mishima Clan. As they struggle to settle old scores and compete to rule the global kingdom, putting the world’s balance in doubt.

Tekken 8 – Release Date Speculations
Bandai Namco did not reveal the release date for Tekken 8 at the time of publishing or even admit that the game is working on it. If you look at recent releases and use any details to remind our minds, you can come to a few rational observations on when the game arrives or is reported.
Distressingly, between the release of Tekken 6 and Tekken 7, there was a six-year delay (though we did have Tekken Tag Tournament 2 to get us through the interim). If Tekken 8 follows the same trend (moving from an arcade release to a home console version) as its predecessor, that means we can probably see the release of Tekken 8 by 2023.
We’ll keep you up-to-date as more news on Tekken 8 is announced. Personally, I think the perfect time for Bandai Namco to launch the game as part of the next-gen blow-out.
Battle games have always been excellent at showing off what modern consoles can do because of the comparatively low-resource nature of the games – you need two players and a world, and you can drive a computer a long way to solve only those problems. Wrapping Tekken 7 up with this as-yet-unrevealed 50th character ahead of teasing a new game for the next-gen will make sense. But Bandai Namco never really did a novel.
