Tekken 7 is a fighting game that’s developed by Bandai Namco Entertainment. It’s the ninth overall installment in the Tekken series but there is no Tekken-7 Cross-Platform support. Tekken 7 had a limited arcade released in March 2015. And after that, an updated arcade version, Tekken 7: Fated Revolution, was then released in July 2016, and it features some expanded content that includes new stages, costumes, items, and characters.

Tekken-7 Cross-Platform support
Earlier this year’s E3 event, Bandai Namco has officially confirmed that the game will also be released on Xbox One and PC platforms. So, it means that many people will be able to enjoy this fighting game, but what’s more exciting and important is that the Cross-Platform play might also be supported. The game’s series creator Katsuhiro Harada was asked about a potential Cross-Platform play in a recent interview. He replied that apparently, such a thing would not be difficult to put together seems that the team has some pre-planned ideas on how to move forward.
Well, there’s been another shocking update that Tekken 7 won’t sport Cross-Platform play on PC due to first-party concerns and community perceptions of PC gamers. Because of its run on consoles and PC. Some under constant criticism has come under Tekken 7’s netplay.
Crossplay has always been used to extend the life of games across multiple platforms by allowing many players from different platforms to play with or against each other over their chosen game’s online netplay. While fighting games certainly can benefit from Crossplay, this extends to games of all other genres as well.
TEKKEN 7’S LACK OF CROSSPLAY
One of the most common and main reasons for the lack of Crossplay in Tekken 7 is that since fighting games are a peer-to-peer connection. It’s a lot more difficult to handle Crossplay across three platforms.
Tekken 7 enters its fourth season now without crossplay, and there’s a reason that the players who are waiting for the arrival of this feature are left utterly disappointed. Due to the security protocols between the first-party platform developers change for the better, fans will have to play the game without a crossplay.
There’s a lack of crossplay in Tekken 7, but I hope the game will still be enjoyable for the players.
