Destiny 2 Latest Update 3.1.1.1
Bungie has announced the new 3.1.1 update and 3.1.1.1 hotfix, which will be released on March 23, 2021. It is one of the massive patches for Destiny 2’s stasis and the game’s newest power set, which fixes some of the games’ bugs but is mostly concerned with stasis’s oppressive power.
Bungie has released a schedule on March 23, 2021, which stated when the update would be live and informed about the server downtime. They are as follows
- 9 am (PDT) Pacific time – the time from which maintenance of the game starts
- 9:45 am (PDT) Pacific time – at this time, the Destiny 2 game and its related third-party application will go offline.
- 10 am (PDT) pacific time – 3.1.1 update will be available on all platforms and available in all regions so that players can log back to the Destiny 2 game.
- 11 am (PDT) – maintenance of the game will be wrapped up at this time.

Current Status
As previously announced, Bungie made the server down and started their maintenance. But the time extended to 1 pm (PDT) pacific time because of some issues. Bungie took to Twitter and informed about this time extension, “Destiny 2 maintenance has been extended by 2 hours. The expected completion is now 1:00 PM PDT. No additional downtime is expected; however, players may experience error codes and disconnects during this extension. Please stay tuned for updates.”
They also warned players about the error they get while this maintenance is in progress, “As maintenance continues, players may encounter WEASEL, BAT, and CHICKEN errors.” So they are advised to wait until the maintenance gets completed.
This 3.1.1.1 update is the hotfix for the 3.1.1 update. The patch notes of this update are available on the Bungie official website.
