This update 3.08 is the maintenance patch on Play Station 4, Play Station 5, Xbox one, Xbox X series and PC that improve the game stability
All the players will be prompted to download the patch at the end of their match or else while launching the game.
For this update, no downtime required on any consoles. Players can easily download it.
The issues have been resolved, players on GeForce are once again able to change their video settings.

This 3.08 is likely released in order to fix the issues caused by the previous update 15.50 that released on March 3, a day before the 3.08 update. From this we can witness the sincerity of Fortnite franchise and Epic games.
