- Before leaving, add it to all the accessories you have.
- Take the crucifix to the room you have identified as the ghost’s favourite room.
- And at last, just throw the crucifix to the point where you think the ghost will appear.
Using a crucifix may sound easy – well, after all, you just have to throw it on the ground, right? But that’s not right. It’s not so easy. There’s a strategy that’s involved in making sure that you are doing the right thing. The most important thing is that there’s an effective radius of three meters. So, when the ghost is ready to hunt you, it will first check whether it’s within the required radius of the crucifix.

If it’s a yes, then the hunt is prevented, but if it’s not, there will be a sudden flickering in your flashlight, and then it’s time for you to run and hide.

So, the best place to put a crucifix is in the ghost’s room. You may be able to prevent the hunt by throwing the crucifix right in the center if it’s a small room. But if the ghost’s favorite room is large, you’ll be having a hard time getting the coverage you need with that method.
