Google has recently been testing out the Dark Mode theme, and this time, it looks like it’s here to stay. Currently, on their second test drive of the dark theme on Google desktop search engine, you can enable the Google Dark Theme mode too in your PC and decide whether or not it works for you. All About Google Dark Mode

Darker theme mode is nothing new for an App to roll out and test before launching it officially. Similar darker mode tests have been done by Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, and Whatsapp before officially presenting the Dark Theme as a feature. It looks like Google has followed suit and is now ready to launch the Darker theme mode officially for its Google Search Engine and results.

On an interview with The Verge, Google was reportedly cited as saying recently, “We’re always testing new ways to improve our experience for our users, but don’t have anything specific to announce right now,”

If you are regular Windows or Mac user, you might have received a notification regarding the Google Dark Theme feature.

System default theme on Google Search Engine blends in with the theme of your Mac or Windows. You may have been using Darker Theme mode on Google Search Engine for a while now in your Andriod, but it is the first time Google plans to roll out the same Darker Theme mode in your desktop search engine and search results.

Moreover, Darker display themes are already available for use in other Google desktop and mobile apps such as Google Drive, Google Docs, and more. It looks like Google Search is following the same path. Google has not yet released any report or confirmation on the rollout of Dark Theme mode for the Google Search Engine.
