How to Access Split-Screen?
You can access the multiplayer feature once you left Dutch Island. The console players must have Play Station plus and Xbox Live gold membership to access the co-operative feature. You couldn’t play it offline on a single platform, but you can play it online from different places.
Steps to Start to Co-operate Mode.
- Open the game menu using the tab key on your PC or press the touchpad on your Play Station 4 or press the black button in Xbox one.
- Select an online mode in the game menu and invite friends.
- Select the friend you like to play co-operative mode with from your friend’s list.
- Once your friend accepts your invitation, you will be able to play. They can see the invitation in the main menu of their console. In PS4, it will show up as a notification that they can select to begin playing.
If you turned off the opt-in, you can only send invites and can’t receive invites, make sure to turn on the feature. Your friend will load into the map within few minutes, and you will be able to enjoy the entire campaign, including open world and story mission. You have to complete two missions to complete co-operative missions for both players, one you as a host and one with your friend as a host. Don’t travel too far, as the host will automatically go to the starting point.
