Publisher and Disney’s Lucasfilm Games reported recently that an Open-world Star Wars game is in development with a new story and game plot. All over social media, fans of the hit franchise Star Wars are eagerly waiting for the new installment to come, and expectations are high. Collaboration With Ubisoft And Future With EA
It is a new era of sorts for Star Wars game, and the fans as EA will no longer hold the exclusive rights to the game’s development. Julian Gerighty will assist as the new Star Wars game’s creative director. The game’s development is expected to employ the Snowdrop engine. What seems to a long-term collaboration between Ubisoft and Disney’s Lucasfilms will mark the partnership deal between Disney and EA. EA’s contract to develop the Star Wars game will end in 2023 expectantly.

EA has been and will continue to be a very strategic and important partner for us now, and going forward,” Disney games executive Sean Shoptaw statements about EA “But we did feel like there’s room for others.
We will continue working with them and our relationship has never been stronger.
