The latest addition to the Assassin’s Creed universe is Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, a mammoth game in itself with players claiming to have 100+ hours of gameplay to complete all the side quests and the main story. It’s a Viking Season…

Assassins creed have been around a long time. Starting in November 2007 with the first installment, the game has over thirteen installments to date, with the latest offering being “Assassin’s creed Valhalla.”

The game landed on 10th November this year and is available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, Google Stadia, Xbox Series X and Series S, and Microsoft Windows.

The game revolves around a Viking raider who is raised to be a fearless warrior. The player has to lead his clan from their icy desolated hometown in Norway to a new home amid the lush farmlands of ninth-century England. The game portrays England as a fractured nation with a lot of rich and untamed land. The player’s goal is to conquer the land for his clan and earn a place in Valhalla.

All about the Valhalla DLC Release Dates

Ubisoft certainly plans to engage the players for months this time.

Along with the game announcement it released the complete roadmap for a bunch of DLC’s which would be dropping the whole next year.

Okay so there’s a lot to cover so let’s get into it.

The first season which will be free for all players, was earlier announced to be released in December, though any specific date hasn’t been announced yet, but with just 4 days to go for the new year you can expect it to drop any day now.

Here’s is all that will be coming with Season 1

• Introduction of a new settlement area
• The Yule Festival (A traditional Viking Festival) will be introduced.

• The River Raids,which is a new game mode.

• There will be an update to the Jomsviking (recruits/lieutenant) feature that will allow their Jomsviking to earn XP and rank up.
• New player skills and abilities; weapons and gear; and cosmetic items etc., will be introduced.

Season 2 will be released somewhere in March 2021, and with 2021, there also comes the first big expansion of the game called “Wrath of the Druids.”

Expected to be released around the spring of 2021 the expansion will introduce the players to a new adventure, which will be taking place in Ireland.

The backdrop is set in dazzling landscapes and forests with the theme revolving around Gaelic myths and folklore. The story is woven around the mysteries of the ancient druidic cult.

The second expansion named as The Siege of Paris, will be dropping in Summer 2021. The story revolves around the Vikings’ ambitious battle in the fortified city of Paris and the River.

Both the expansions will be available via battle pass that the players can buy. In addition to the expansions, the pass holders will also get an exclusive quest, The Legend of Beowulf (launched already). Ubisoft has also announced a Disney tour mode (which lets players free roam) to be released in 2021.
