As per information, PUBG v1.2 has come with new features, many new weapons. A new feature was introduced in-game: the new Runic Power, available between 12th January to 7th March 2021.

New Runic Power:

One of the new power introduced in-game, which will help the players use One Rune power in battlegrounds to defeat the enemies. Below we have listed the type of Rune powers available for players in-game.
And players need to download Update V1.2 to receive the New Runic Power and required at least 655mB space in the android mobile device and 1.5 GB in IOS device to play the new Runic power without interruption.

The types of Runic powers available

Flame Rune

Summon skill: Summons a wheel of flame that rolls forward slowly, deals burn damage to enemy players it touches.
Boost skill: Adds a burning effect to your Ammo for a short amount of time.

Arctic Rune

Summon skill: Summons an ice wall. Each block of the ice wall will be destroyed separately. When the ice wall appears, it will lift players or vehicles directly above them.
Boost skill: It will Add a freezing effect to Ammo for a short time. Freezing reduces the effectiveness of healing.

Wind Rune:

Summon skill: It’s a semi-transparent shield of wind that reduces bullets’ damage from outside the shield.
Boost skill: Increases your movement in-game and reload the speed.

Power Amour:

A new model was also introduced in this update, power armor available to players from 5th February 2021. to get the power, armor players need to bring Nano Crystals, an armor blueprint, to the matrix base in-game. After players assemble all power armor, they will achieve and unlock new ultimate weapons in the game.
A new feature called Respawn. In this, players can respawn at research stations.

New metro Royale Honor system: Honor is your strength and can be achieved by defeating other players.

New Fire Arms:

In this new armor or rifle introduced called FAMAS.

the FAMAS will be loaded with 25rounds and used for fastest firing and only available and equipped in Livik Map.
There is also information that Season 17 is also coming to this game in an update. Season 17 will be available for players from January 19th,2021. Season 17 consists of a RUNIC Power-themed interface, rewards, and an RP activity pack, which will increase RP Fastly.
