After a sad ban of PUBG in India and many more countries, there is finally something very big for PUBG fans. There is news that PUBG 2.0 is under development and is been made by Korean developers named Krafton. The project name for the PUBG sequel is XTRM. It is expected that the new launch is going to be revolving around the company’s IPO only.
PUBG MOBILE 2.0 AND PUBG 2.0
The rumors caught fire after a report was printed in a Korean publication MTN, which claimed that the sequel of PUBG is worked on. It is confirmed that the game is being developed by Krafton who only developed the PUBG 1st edition. PUBG fans have been very excited by the news as this means the game is going to have all new maps, weapons, and better gameplay. There is news that PUBG 2.0 and PUBG Mobile 2.0 both together are in development.
If the news is to be believed then PUBG 2.0 will be cross-platform compatible and is in its development cycle in Seoul. No official date for its release has been announced yet. PUBG data miner has claimed that there will soon a worldwide announcement very soon.
It is expected that the game will hit the gaming market in 2021. But many claim that the game will be released in the first quarter of 2022. PUBG lite was developed at Seoul Head Quarters. It is expected that people will be able to play it with cross platforms on their gaming consoles, PCs, and mobile.
For the Indian fans as the government has banned PUBG in the country. So, it is unlikely that PUBG 2.0 will hit the Indian gaming market that easily. Krafton has said that they will launch PUBG without Tencent games but still they were not given the permissions. It will interesting to see whether PUBG will be able to hit the Indian market or not.
