Your favorite character Sojourn is added to Overwatch 2 as a hero, confirms Overwatch director Mr. Jeff Kaplan. A series of new heroes will be added in their sequel of the popular game Overwatch called the Overwatch 2. Gamers have been waiting and demanding this for a long. She will be the ever first black female character in the game and the first Canadian hero in the game. So, let’s talk about Sojourn Overwatch.
About the Game
Overwatch 2 will be a shooting video game that is going to be developed and published by Blizzard entertainment. It was revealed to the gamers in the event BlizzCon 2019 but not much was revealed about the game then. It was hoped that more information will be shared in BlizzCon 2020 but the event got canceled due to covid 19. The developers instead of doing online streaming of the event or organizing it in a biosecure bubble postponed the event to 2021 which came as a shock for the gamers.
Long-awaited Sojourn as a hero in the game
Sojourn’s inclusion in the game came along with the addition of PVE modes, cosmetics, and all-new looks for the existing heroes. The addition of Sojourn to the game was done back in 2016. Sojourn first appeared as an agent in the animated short called the recall that got a message to re-join Overwatch. She was later seen as Ana’s team member, which suggested her relationship with heroes like Reinhardt. She took the role of a captain in the Overwatch Archives event Storm. In the trailer released, new heroes (especially Echo) are seen helping Winston and his company with a Megatron- winnable, who is causing problems in Paris.
Sojourn Overwatch and new map
Sojourn will be added to the game with the addition of the new Toronto Map. Her arm is seen to be transformed into a gun, she is seen wearing a red maple leaf on her shoulder’s which is expected to be a giveaway. It is confirmed by the director of the game that she will be the center of the attraction of Overwatch 2. Not much about her abilities in the game is known so far. More updates about sojourn and Echo are still awaited to be revealed by the developers.
