Hearthstone is probably the most popular card game till date, it started as just an experimental game in 2014 with a small blizzard team, but today the game has really outdone itself. It’s been over six years since the game’s release across platforms, and it still is one of the best card games out there. The developers constantly work towards providing a great experience for its players. The recent advancement towards accessibility has now been announced by blizzard. The game is planning on introducing a brand new core set. Also there have been changes regarding the hall of fame and also the introduction of a classic mode. Hearthstone Comes Up with a New Core Rotation!
It has been six years since the game was released in 2014, the game has been quite popular and still has a loyal playing base. The game achieved this by constant innovations in their playing style and excellent feedback mechanism.
Continuing the good work, Blizzard have once again announced some changes in the game, which will improve the overall player experience. The new changes would be applicable from the next rotation. So, this would be a great time to look at all the changes.
What is changing ?
Here is a list of everything that would be changing in the next rotation:

Introduction of a brand new core set
The game initially had basic and classic sets, this was upgraded in 2016 when the game introduced two brand new sets standard and wild. This time around the game will again be introducing a new set “the core set”. This set will consist of the basic and classic sets combined and some wild sets too. Also there will be twenty nine new cards in this set. Here is list:
- Classic- 88 cards
- Basic- 54 cards
- Wild- 55 cards
- Ashes of Outland – 4 cards
- Demon Hunter Initiate- 4 cards
- Hall of Fame – 1 card
- New- 29 cards.
The hall of fame will no longer be available, instead a legacy set will be introduced. A brand new Classic Mode will also be introduced, this will feature the original version of the game released in 2014.
