Unfortunately, as Season 9 comes to a conclusion and people try to still have a chance at unlocking the Revenant heirloom, these issues are sweeping across the globe affecting millions of players.
Respawn Entertainment confirmed they were investigating network outages affecting players in all regions.

The developers have stated that a new update should resolve the issue for most players, but are still studying error codes to find out exactly what needs to be adjusted.
We've released an update to our servers that seems to have resolved the network outages.
We're also aware of an unrelated issue that causes a limited group of players to be booted from games with "code: wheel" and "code: net" messages displayed afterward. We're working on it!
