Shadowban in Warzone
Warzone Call of Duty has become the den of cheaters and hackers. There are more than 60,000 fake accounts that get noted. So the Raven software has created a ban on those players and tries to stop those cheaters. Shadow Ban makes the players with naughty accounts removed from the original matchmaking pool and transferred to the matchmaking pool filled with more cheaters. Once they are removed or banned from Warzone, they must create a new account to play the game.

Adyan’s Ban
While Adyan was streaming Warzone on-going tournament on his Twitch account, he all of a sudden got banned and kicked out from the game. He got a notification saying, “Account Permanently Banned” and a “Return to Desktop” option. He took to Twitter and posted about this ban. But he didn’t get any official reply from Warzone. Adyan might be shadow-banned incorrectly because he wouldn’t cheat before the thousands of followers who watched his stream and perished his career forever. He will talk to Activision directly and resolve these issues soon.
Lots of YouTubers and streamers got incorrectly banned from Warzone because of this shadowban. Though this ban removes cheaters from the game, it still makes a nuisance to other players who never did anything wrong and makes the game unplayable. Let’s hope this issue will be cleared soon.
