The last patch update that was released by Riot for Valorant has done significant amount of changes in the game. So that players can have a more enhanced experience of the game. And now Riot is set to release a new update patch 2.03 for the game. Tis patch will bring up changes in AFK Penalties and also a hike in Frenzy and stinger price. The changes are also made in the act ranked reward.
Valorant Patch 2.03
The official date of the patch update is not yet confirmed but it is rumoured to be released around 2nd March 2021. The specifics of the patch notes are also not confirmed yet. But hopefully it will be out soon. There is a speculation that with this new patch there will also be a new game mode added. Currently there are 4 modes in Valorant. The new mode is named Escalation. This will be a normal 5v5 mode and will offer around 12 or so levels. In each level the players will be given a different tool with increased difficulty.
In this mode teamwork will be important. Each kill you make will add a point to the team score. And regarding the Frenzy and the Stinger price. Initially the guns cost $400 in the game but now the price has gone up to $500. Which can come across as a bit of a sad news for the players. But the other updates cover it all.
AFK penalties and Act Ranked Rewards
The Riot games has planned to give strict and hefty penalties to the players who will use AFK. As they ruin the ranked patch. These players will face a severe RR Loss. These are only the initial steps that are taken by the Riot games against the AFK complaints. Lets see what they do next to secure this more.
The change in the Act Ranked Reward made is that, the rewards will now be given according to the act end leaderboard ranking or the highest rank that is achieved by the player. With this update there will be a new system that will determine your ranking and give you the rewards accordingly. Although there are still no details on what these rewards will be, one thing is sure, that Valorant won’t let the players down with it’s choice of rewards.
