Crimson days Destiny 2
Crimson Days is a Valentine day special winter event in which you will be able to claim several goodies. Since Lord Shaxx is the vendor in charge he will be the one offering you the same. Though it is an open event, only players of Level 790, having The Power unlocked, can participate. The theme orients on the special Crucible mode and a variation of Showdown mode. Here, the players will be in a duo team and they have to fight and survive rounds of 2 minutes each. The one who secures the maximum number of kills is the clear winner.
According to the game, players will either receive a special buff or a debuff. These buffs are as follows-
- Reunited buff – For the duo that stays together.
- Drifting Apart debuff – For the duo that does the exact opposite of above, that is, stays apart.
- Vengeance buff – For defeating a player’s teammate.
The Confectionary Hearts are the in-game currency throughout the event existence. Obtaining it is pretty simple since all you have to do is either play the Crimson Days mode or complete Shaxx’s bounties. The twist comes in the latter part. Not all, but few bounties require the completion of particular objectives like joining a team manually, etc.
The following activities will enable you to earn Confectionary Hearts-
- Weekly Crimson Days bounties — 75
- Daily Crimson Days bounties — 15
- Crimson Days mode wins — 7
- Crimson Days mode losses — 5
2021 Crimson Days – Destiny 2
Although Crimson Days is a unique event, it hasn’t been much of a hit. Also, the content was not up to the level either. Its progress was also not much but the event didn’t fade off. Its survival was pushed by both old and fresh rewards. But, anyhow this holiday event was not game worthy.
The game’s developers found it wise to invest their time and creativity in the current season’s improvisation. They want to add new and meaningful activities which may or may not replace Crimson Days. Due to the hit of Season 13, this loss won’t be a great deal at all. But then, the event is not gone yet. The word is Crimson Doubles or the Doubles Crucible mode is in the Content Vault, which indicates the chances of its return in the near future. It’s so because it comprises a unique team play rule set and features a rare 2v2 game mode.
