It is official now!!! The next batch of twelve episodes of Pokemon Journeys will be releasing next month. The pokemon company via their official twitter handle announced that the next batch will be available for binge watch on the streaming service Netflix next month. The company specifically said that the episodes will be aired on the fifth of march. There have been speculations for long that the last batch of the episodes will be released soon. It is expected that this batch may be the finale to this twenty third season of the long running animated pokemon series. The series which has now been going on for more than 23 years, gathers a huge popularity all over the world. The series that started with a simple animated children’s cartoon, have turned into a giant franchise today all thanks to the great support it has received from viewers all over. The long journey of Pokemon
The first episode in the pokemon anime series was aired on 1st april 1997. However the pokemons have a longer history. The franchise pokemon was originally created in 1995 by a Japanese individual Satoshi Tajiri, Pokemon in japanese means pocket monsters which was the original name of the franchise.
The first offering of the franchise was Pocket Monsters Red and Green in 1996. The response it received let to the creators working on an anime series. Subsequently the Pokemon company was formed, with Nintendo, Game Freak, and Creatures behind the company.

Soon enough the first anime Series was launched in 1997, and received a very positive response from the audience. It soon became a very successful franchise with the highest revenue gains by any media franchise. Pokemon soon released several films, games and merchandise too all of which are wildly popular too.
