The foremost attractive part about this laptop is its small size, which further makes it completely portable. MSI provides subtle build quality. The casing of Evo has a smooth aluminum carbon grey finish accompanied by a blue accent with no sharp edges. This gadget has a 1080p- 60Hz IPS level screen, even though it comes with a 4K option. On testing this 4K option with Spyder5, it gives 94% of sRGB, 72% of ADOBE RGB, and 72% of DCI-P3. It reaches 300 nits at full brightness, and the contrast ratio is above average.

The power button is on the right end, but sudden interaction won’t shut down this machine. Keyboard brightness is adjustable in 3 levels or can even be turned off. Touchpad size is 14 cm x 6.5 cm and is fine to use. The top left corner of the touchpad has a fingerprint scanner.

There are 2 USB 4 type-C ports with Thunderbolt on the left, and the interesting thing is both can be used for charging the laptop. The right side has a 3.5 mm audio jack, Micro SD card slot, and USB 2.0 type-A port. In the front, it has a Logo in the middle.

The MSI Prestige 14 can be open using a single finger, and the whole screen goes up to 180 degrees back. There is a special button on the keyboard positioned second from the power button. This button can be used in sharing files. One of this machine’s catchy features is that the memory is a patch with the motherboard, which is quite impossible for laptops of this size.
