McDonald’s Happy Meals
McDonald is a fast-food restaurant chain, since June 1979 that is native to America. Its sells kids meal in a red cardboard box with the company’s logo. This meal comprises of the food order items and a small toy. This is popularly known as the “Happy Meal“. The packaging of toy with meal indicates marketing tie-in with any kids content producing company.
Pokemon in McDonald’s Happy Meal
As a part of the 25th Anniversary, Pokemon company is promoting its stuff through McDonald’s Happy Meals. You can expect even more activities and events coming up throughout the year, as a part of this celebration.
Such a promotion is not new, since many would have an experience of it in late 2019. But, the last time Poke Ball-themed disc launchers was the toy but this time its the re-release of Pokemon trading cards.
The news leaked through the Twitter handle of both PokeJungle and PkmnTrainerAbel. The post displays the cutouts of all the Pokemon toys that will be available.
On taking a deeper look, you will observe design variations in Pikachu, Scorbunny, and Poke Ball. New additions are a poster for creating Pokemon scenes, booklets, stickers and Pikachu design frame holding the pokemon cards.
There were also recent ads promoting the same found in McDonald’s locations and this just confirmed the leak to be true. Not all details are known but Pokemon is coming back in McDonald’s Happy Meal and it’s going to be fun.
The word is, every order will consist of four Pokemon cards, among the 25 different cards featuring various Pokemon from different generations. But, none of this is confirmed officially, its all just rumours and leaks.
Franchise collaborations always come with a lot of exciting ideas, products and initiatives such as this. Pokemon fans can start their collections since the toys will be commencing from the first week of February 2021 onwards, across the US. The event will exist approximately for over a month, pretty much like the previous time, since its a big year for Pokemon franchise.
