Ubisoft is finally planning to start the in person events once again!!!! The first esport event in this fray will be none other than the Rainbow six Siege Invitational event 2021. Though there is a bummer too, Ubisoft has made it clear that there would be no audience. So the fans have to suffice with the live streams on youtube and twitch. Rainbow six siege
Rainbow six siege is a five year old game, but it still is alive.That is to say that it still has a large number of active players and fans. The reason for this is obviously it’s awesome gameplay.
But a great role in this is also played by the E-sport competition that is held at a huge scale. Teams all over the world participante in these and they are revered as game festivals.
Rainbow six siege tournaments find great following among fans some of the most well known six siege tournaments for this year are as follows:
- REGIONAL FINALS 2020
- SIX INVITATIONAL 2021
- MAY AND AUGUST SIX MAJORS 2021
- RAINBOW SIX WORLD CUP
And many more….
Ubisoft via a post on their official page announced that they are looking forward to normalising things and going back to physical Lan competition. Though Ubisoft also made it clear that no in person audience will be allowed and strict measures will be taken to ensure player’s safety.
SIX INVITATIONAL 2021
Here is what ubisoft announced about the six invitational 2021:
- No exact dates were released but the event will surely be held in the last week of February this year.
- The event will be organised in paris, france.
- The event will be offline, though no in-person audience would be there.
- Twenty teams will be there fighting for the title of world champions.
- The map used for the event will be the stadium.
- Operators will be allowed
- Total prize pool of $3,000,000 is expected to be there.
