Who isn’t a fan of Capcom’s Resident Evil Franchise? A true gamer can never miss any of the franchise updates and can’t even resist trying their hands on the game. The resident evil has over a dozen games, six live-action movies, and numerous books and comics. It is a franchise that develops horror content.
All About the Portal to be Released
Resident Evil was announced to the gamers back in the year 1996 for the Playstation users and now is one of the best horror games. Keeping the legacy alive, Capcom has announced that that they will be launching a Resident Evil portal which will be having a lot of individual resident evil services that’ll be integrated under a single portal which will allow the fans to not look for the information at different places. No specific date yet has been decided but it will surely be released next year (2021). The idea behind the portal site is to accumulate all the information under one page and make it a central hub for the RE series. The benefit of the portal for the gamers will be that they will get a chance to share their stats with anyone around the world. All the contents available for the biohazard series, biohazard series 96, and the Resident Evil Ambassador Program will be stored in the portal.
What all will be needed to have the access to the portal
There are speculations that in order to be a part of the ambassador program fans will require to have Capcom ID to sign up in the portal. The portal cannot be linked to social media accounts for now. But yes you need a Twitter account to have access and to link it to the portal.
New Resident Evil Portal Website launching in 2021. Will serve as a single website for all RE news going forward (right now it’s split among different sites like RE Net and RE Ambassador)https://t.co/EUn3hbJsrd

Capcom found this portal as a need because as we all know Resident Evil 8 is to be launched next year and Capcom has put a lot into the game. But sadly a hack was released on social media explaining the gameplay of the game which was a very big loss for Capcom so it was a need to accumulate all the information of resident evil under one portal to refrain from such incidents.
