Returnal is an upcoming third person shooter science fiction and psychological horror video game. It is developed by Housemarque and published by Sony Interactive Entertainment. The game is going to be a PS5 exclusive.
Release date
The game was initially set to release on March 19th 2021. But due to the delay in the development it will now be release on 30th April 2021. This announcement was made by Sony on the official Playstation Twitter account. It stated that the developers needed some more time to do some extra polishing in the game. And they have decided to give the team some extra time to finish the final touches and extra polishing of the game. So that they can achieve the level of quality players are expecting from Housemarque.
Returnal Gameplay
Returnal is a third person shooter game. It features rogue like element. The game is set in a completely futuristic setting and is a science fiction. The story of the game revolves around a space pilot named Selene, which the players will be controlling. Selene is provided with a suit, and is armed with some hi-tech weapons. In the game he is left on an alien planet and is stuck up in a time loop. Selene will be resurrected every time after it dies. He will be travelling in different environments and will be combating with some mysterious extraterrestrial beings. And the most thrilling thing in the game is that its world is ever changing giving the players unexpected challenges at every step.
Returnal Features and Updates
The game will offer its players some excellent graphics and storyline. As mentioned earlier the game is completely roguelike, so players will have to give a tough fight to survive in the game. They will also get to experience a ruthless and bullet hell-fuelled fight. So, in short an Intense Combat experience.
They will gat to make some thrilling explorations and will have to manage their recources carefully and use them judiciously. As every time the player dies they will have to restart all over again. And players will also have to hunt for alien technologies and enhance the abilities in further stages.
The game has a really haunting narrative. Here players will have to put together the fragments of Selen’s memory and progress further in the game. And also discover the ever changing terrain of the unknown planet.
