THE NEW CHIP DIMENSITY 1300 WILL COMPETE WITH QUALCOMM’S SNAPDRAGON 778G?

THE NEW CHIP DIMENSITY 1300 WAS LAUNCHED. IT WILL COMPETE WITH QUALCOMM'S SNAPDRAGON 778G AS THE MAIN OPPONENT.

MediaTek has unveiled a new chip, the DIMENSITY 1300 will COMPETE WITH QUALCOMM’S SNAPDRAGON 778G?. This chip is rumored to be used in the upcoming OnePlus NVIDIA 2T smartphone.

The new chipset is based on TSMC’s 6nm manufacturing technology and has an octa-core CPU with four high-performance Cortex-A78 cores – one Ultra at 3 GHz and three Super at 2.6 GHz – and four energy-efficient Cortex-A55 cores with frequency up to 2 GHz. The graphics are handled by the 9-core GPU Arm Mali-G77 MC9.

The DIMENSION 1300 features a 9-core Arm Mali-G77 MC9 GPU. The new chip will also enable displays with a refresh rate of up to 165Hz and a resolution of up to Full HD+ 2520 x 1080 pixels. 16GB LPDDR4x 4266Mbps RAM, and UFS 3 for the upper-end models

The built-in image processor supports up to 200MP megapixels and 4K HDR video capture. The chipset also includes a built-in 5G modem.

The new MediaTek Dimensity 1300 processors include the Qualcomm Adreno 616 GPU with support for Vulkan and Open GL 3.0. This provides the best performance possible.
