Mass Effect remaster patch!!! Stop Shepard becoming a millionaire

Published on:

The Mass Effect remaster for PS4 and Xbox One has been out for a few weeks now, and while the game is mostly the same as it ever was, there are still some new changes that have been made. One of these changes is to make sure Shepard can’t become an accidental millionaire on Omega by trading with Aria T’Loak.

Last night, the Mass Effect Legendary Edition got a new patch. Now you might find yourself importing Shepard from Mass Effect to Mass Effect 2 and end up with fewer credits than before! One of the changes was that Commander Shepard’s bank account had been nerfed while also reducing the noise coming from those loud deafening mass relays. There were some performance tweaks as well but I think most people are glad they’ll now have more money in their pockets when playing through this game.

I’ve always been a completionist when it comes to video games, so being able to max out my credits at 9.999 million in the first game was exciting for me- but not as much now that I can’t carry over all of those riches into ME2 with this remastered version. Now you only get 10% of your money from ME1 transferred; if like me you had everything completed before playing part 2… Well then just imagine how many ‘cool’ one-hundredths are left!

My point is, I don’t know if it’s just me but the Mass Effect remaster feels a lot less satisfying to play than ME- Andromeda. The lack of new content and too much time spent on side missions makes for an experience that doesn’t feel as well-paced or exciting.

I would have liked this patch more had

The import from Mass Effect helped me with credits but I need to make them last. The patch has reduced the maximum amount of credits that can be carried over and it’s now 100,000 like in the original release so you actually have to work for what you want.

I was able to take advantage of importing my stats from a previous playthrough into ME2 when they released an update on December 4th limiting players’ bank accounts (the same as before) at 1 million – which is far too much by 5x! It won’t save your game progress anymore either because this time there will always be three saves; one auto-save, one manual save file, and then another autosave after every major battle or decision point where Shepard usually makes a decision.

I’m glad they patched the game so that I don’t accidentally make terrible decisions and win because it’s not worth having a whole playthrough ruined with one bad choice at the very end! Now you can enjoy Mass Effect as it was meant to be played – without making everyone on your team rich from generous donations of credits.

It’s a good thing BioWare is finally fixing the Mass Relays! I can’t even hear myself think when they’re so loud.

I’m sure you’ve all heard of Shepard, right? Well lucky for us he doesn’t have to go anywhere because someone else has come back from the dead and saved him before we had to bring him ourselves like in previous games. The other notable change that was made with Mass relays- which are what launch our Normandy around – is lowering their sound level on loading screens as it could burst your eardrums since 2007 if not sooner!

When it comes to gaming, there are few more popular than the Final Fantasy series. The latest iteration of this long-running franchise is FFXV – a new installment in which players take on the role of Prince Noctis Lucis Caelum and his three companions as they journey across Eos to cast off their powerful foe that has invaded their land.

Mass Effect: Andromeda has been updated to fix several issues which had players experiencing crashes and difficulty reaching the max level. These updates should make it easier for fans of Mass Effect games on PC, including those who have characters with non-standard usernames in order to log in.

Fans of the Mass Effect series will be pleased to know that a new patch for Mass Effect: Andromeda has been released on PC, which fixes several bugs and issues. They include an issue with crashes caused by some NVIDIA cards, as well as problems getting past level 50 due to certain enemies not giving enough experience points. This is likely because those

Mass Effect 2 should be much smoother and less frustrating for players. There were a number of bug fixes in this release, including the fix to an issue that would prevent gameplay from progressing after certain collisions with enemies or objects. Mass effect audio volume has been reduced on load screens so you can hear more dialogue without having it drowned out by loud music when loading into new areas. Eye animations have also improved across all-male character models in some scenes as well as eye color being toned down at Overlord DLC’s end scene where our hero is killed off-screen (spoiler alert!)

I’ve never seen a game so focused on money. Maximum now matches carryover from the original release, and posthumous banking fees are one of those great ways to dodge taxes! I was surprised when Mass Effect 3 added English dialogue for German and Italian localizations because it’s been a while since I played ME3 (and who knew that would be enough). But then they fixed an issue where some key characters weren’t appearing as intended during the Citadel DLC which is unfortunate but not entirely surprising considering how weird things were going in my playthroughs before this patch. For instance, in my Shepard playthrough (that’s not really much of a spoiler) I had enough money to buy the Citadel station.

The changes made by this patch are going to make Mass Effect more enjoyable for players who were struggling with some aspects of it before. The game is still about as buggy and glitchy as it ever was –

I never really saw the point in BioWare’s decision to make trading items more difficult. I mean, it was tough enough before when you had to wait for things like Blacksmithing or Woodworking levels and all that good stuff. Now they’re making me do this! It makes no sense at all.

I’m not really sure what the point of this patch is. Shepard never needs to worry about money, but I guess some players were having trouble with Mass Effect’s economic system. It makes sense that BioWare would want to help their customers out in any way they can (within reason) and so they’ve taken up this task for themselves
