Square Enix are constantly working on their acclaimed Final Fantasy series. Whether it is a new game altogether, a new DLC, or the remake of a previous title. Yes, with the release of FF7 Remake last year, players and fans are intrigued about the project. And this is how the current scenario looks.
Final Fantasy VII Remake
The remake of the famous Final Fantasy VII released last year. This is the story of Sephiroth and Cloud Strife retold. But this time, the game is not so short and focused on the main character only. Square Enix have decided to dig deep into the lives of the side characters too, making the game longer. Longer than you can imagine.
In fact, the story is so long that the Final Fantasy VII Remake only makes a tenth of the original game. The rest will be released as a separate title. Much like episodic gameplay, except the fact that we do not know when the next episode will release.
The best thing about the remake is that the story is the same. There is just some rewriting and model creation, accompanied by realistic game engine usage.
Info about Part 2
We all know Square Enix is busy with Final Fantasy at the moment. They are developing FF16, and also FF7 Remake Intergrade, which is the PS5 version of the Remake. But recently, they have shared an interesting update.
In a recent tweet, they have shared details about a new book that will be releasing in July this year. Final Fantasy 7 Remake Ultimania Plus will feature stories, artwork and concepts for the Part 2 of the Remake. It will also contain clues and contents about Yuffie DLC, which will be the speciality in FF7R Intergrade.
With this book, fans can know the outline of the Part 2 story. And, who knows, they can also get a good amount of sneak peek! But, as developers have pointed out, the story of Part 2 will continue from Intergrade, so grab a copy of it when they hit the stores!
