Blizzard Entertainment is working on the World of Warcraft: Burning Crusade game patch for the classic version, and it will be released soon. The developers have announced that the game will be released in various countries at the same time.

The Burning Crusade Classic is an expansion pack to the classic version of the game. The new patch will be released on 1st June, at 3 pm ET. This pack brings the World of Warcraft: Burning Crusade expansion to the classic version of the game.
The Burning Crusade expansion adds new races to the player roster, namely the Alliance Draenei and the Horde Blood Elves. The patch will also raise the player level cap to 70. Also, contents will be added in phases over time, promises Blizzard.
This was in the list of wanted expansion packs for more than a decade, nd now, players can finally enjoy the Burning Crusade in the Classic version too.
World of Warcraft
Burning Crusade is an expansion to the 2004 game World of Warcraft. It was released in 2007 and was the fastest-selling PC game at the time. The original expansion added two new races to the roster, Alliance Draenei and the Horde Blood Elves, but they were not present in the classic version of the game. It may have taken them more than a decade to update the classic version with Burning Crusade gameplay features, but this is certainly a needed step.
The game received universal acclaim for the gameplay, soundtrack, and plot. The game received highly positive ratings from the reviewers and sold more than 300000 copies in the UK alone.
Contents to be Added
So, here is the list of the contents that are coming to the classic version:
- Two new Player rosters, the Alliance Draenei and the Horde Blood Elves
- Player cap increased to Level 70
- Addition of Flying Mounts
- Addition of The Black Temple, The Gods of Zul’Aman, and Fury of the Sunwell
It is to be noted that players will require a Battle.net account to play the game, and also a World of Warcraft subscription. However, the developers have assured us that no additional charges will be required for the expansion pack.
