Destiny 2 is the online shooter game where players took up the role of Guardians. Here we are going to see about changing the hairstyle of the guardians in the game.
Players are mostly concerned about how their characters look in the game. They want their characters to be cool with great hairstyle and fabulous outlook. So games let the players to customize their own characters according to their likes.
How to change?
Right from the start of Destiny 2, there is no such option is available to change the hairstyle of the guardians. You can customize your character at the beginning but after that selection you won’t be able to change the hairstyle or appearance of the guardians in the later times.
Start to end
At the beginning of the game, Destiny 2 allows to customize the look of your own guardian in the game. You have to choose one guardian from the three different race available in the list. Then you can personalize or customize them by applying different hairstyles, colours and other cosmetic changes. Make sure you are happy with that look as you couldn’t change it further once you finalize it. So if you are new to Destiny 2 make sure that you customize your guardian’s look perfectly.
If you are half way in the game and fed up with the guardians look and want to change the look. We are sorry because if you terriblely have to change the hairstyle, you have to start from scratch. Yes, you have to create a new character and customize it’s hairstyle. If you really need to change the hairstyle, choose this way but if you don’t want to loose your points you earned through out the game, turn on the helmet mode. As this helmet will cover the head, you don’t have to worry about the bad hairstyle of the character.
What’s the reason?
You may wonder why can’t Bungie provide us an option to change our character hairstyle. It’s because the current creation is heavily restricted, so they can’t help us with this. “Our original system for player faces had some combinatoric content authoring problems – for example, every decal had to be authored completely custom for each player face permutation. This prevented us from extending this area of the game with more content and features. We’ve upgraded to a significantly more capable system (with e.g. runtime decal projection), which we hope to leverage for more player customization options in the future” says the developers.
And that’s about it. Make sure you like your characters look before starting the game, as you can’t change it further.
