Persona 5, part of the Megami Tensei franchise, is a role-playing game by Atlus. The game features the Persona Universe, which is basically a high-school students based plot. The game has this cool website thing that one has to access quite a lot. Someone tried to make a real webpage of the same name. And it is fascinating!

During certain sections of the game, the percentage agreeing value will reach a full 100%, but will go down later on and finish with around 45%. The website also features in Persona 5 Royal and Persona 5 The Animation The Day Breakers. During a battle, the Phansite also indicates support from others for the protagonist.

The polls change according to events in the game. The first poll is “Do you believe in the Phantom Thieves?”. It is fun looking at the polls and comments in the website. It is beautifully made, with a look and feel of originality.

Now comes the fun part. Someone literally made a real website with the same name. The website is related ton the game itself, and contains various information and images. There are spoilers in them too, so it is not for people who have not completed the game. Phansite.net contains the similar red and black style, just like the game. And yes, the website also contains polls like the game blog. The poll is updated frequently with questions similar to the game itself.

It seems that Atlus has been notified of this website and they have takes measures to prevent players from being spoiled. The website does not open during the time of writing this article, and no one knows who the creator of the website was.

What Now?

The website fails to open now. It is for good, actually. The images and the comments in the webpage were generally spoilers. Though the idea of creating such a website was good, it could not live up to many of the players’ expectations. Currently, if clicked on the link, the page displayed says that there is no website hosted in that address.
