Hideo Kojima is in talks with X box and Microsoft to sign a deal for an Xbox exclusive title, and we might see the reveal of the game at E3 2021.
Hideo Kojima, a legend in the gaming industry being the person behind super hit games like the metal gear series, Death stranding, etc has been a fan favorite from a long time, gaining almost a cult-like following. With importance like this, there’s no wonder fans eagerly wait for Kojima to release new games putting a smile on fans’ faces.
Kojima’s Break Up With Sony
Kojima had been on the side of Sony all this and released death stranding for the PS5, but seems like he has parted ways with the company as Sony supposedly has rejected a pitch for his new game. We may not know the confirmed reason, but it might be because death didn’t sell as well as they intended.
Kojima has been in talks with Xbox, as leaked from the podcast of a well-known journalist Jeff Grub on his YouTube channel.
In the podcast, he later debunked the rumor that Kojima is the man behind Sony’s new announced game “Abandoned” as gamers had been thinking, as Jeff said that Kojima is already in talks with Xbox for publishing his game on PC and Xbox consoles, so it cannot be possible that he’s released his game on PS5.
X Box Looking For third Party Exclusives
Seems like Xbox is looking for having third-party exclusive titles on their side, as their own big first-party exclusives might not come anytime soon, like titles like Fable 4 and perfect dark, who are one of the most anticipated games we’ve waiting for release.
Though, some titles like Halo Infinite may come a lot sooner than we thought- and we might see something more about this game in next E3, but other than that, it seems the exclusive titles Fable and Perfect Dark may take years to come, so Xbox and Microsoft is looking for third party exclusives to have exclusive games in their side.
About the game
As of now, we have no idea what the game is about other than the fact that it is made by Hideo Kojima, and that , if they successfully sign the deal then we might see its big reveal at this E3 in June. Though, Neither Xbox nor Kojima Productions have confirmed any of this, but we have reliable leak.
