Rainbow six Quarantine might hopefully be released somewhere in later 2021.
In June 2019, Ubisoft released a teaser of Rainbow six Quarantine on YouTube, filling the fans with excitement as they saw a tease of what appeared to be a survival horror FPS, with aliens/zombies- or some kind of infected humans. Ever since then, we all have been waiting eagerly for this.
Release Date
At first, it was announced that the game will be relaxed somewhere in the early 2021, in March, but the release time has been shifted to the end of 2021. The date is not fixed, though, but hopefully we won’t have to wait till 2022.
Quarantine or Parasite?
From leaks and sources, it seems that Ubisoft, cause of reasons, might change the title of the game to “Rainbow six Parasite”.
The reason could be that, as we spent the whole last year under quarantine, so the word “quarantine” might trigger people, and so Ubisoft might change its title. Though, the leaks regarding the change were debunked shortly after, so we really don’t know for sure at this point if the title would change to Parasite or not.
“While we recently shared that we will be changing the name of Rainbow Six Quarantine, ‘Parasite’ is only a placeholder that our internal teams use,” a Ubisoft spokesperson told Eurogamer at the time.
From the above statement, we can clearly say for sure that the title would change.
New Leaks and Footage
roughly 75 minutes of gameplay from a technical test for the game was released online on Facebook stream, but we can’t find it now. Another time a 5-minute video of the game was released on YouTube, but Ubisoft took it down. And to this, Ubisoft replied with:
“We can confirm this is a glimpse of our upcoming Rainbow Six game,” Ubisoft said in a statement issued to Eurogamer. “Recently, we ran an internal test for the game and unfortunately some of the details became public. This clip is a work in progress gameplay footage. We’ll share more details about the game later this year.”
Based on the leaks, we could clearly see the game looked amazing, and not much different from rainbow six siege except the fact that we would be fighting infected humans or aliens this time in this 3 player co-op FPS game.
