Most of the video game developing companies create their own plot for the course of the game. Some others will adapt the story or base line from the previously well known films and movies and cook them up into a video game. Daedalic Entertainment is one such game developing company who is venturing into turn Lord of Rings the most popular novel into a game called Lord of Rings: Gollum, a stealth adventure game. They have released a new trailer for the game, let’s see what’s new.
Lord of Rings is the epic high fantasy adventure novel written by J.R.R.Tolkien. It was one of the best selling book and it was even adapted into a film trilogy namely, The Lord of Rings : Fellowship of the Ring, The Two Towers and Return of the King. Daedalic Entertainment is going to develop a stealth adventurous video game based on this story called Lord of Rings : Gollum.
The Lord of the Rings: Gollum Gameplay Trailer Released
Daedalic Entertainment had informed that they are going to develop a video game based on the Lord of Rings novel. We all know that game is in it’s development phase and addition to that there have been CGI trailers available. But on March 25, 2021 Daedalic Entertainment have released a new trailer which give us a glimpse of the upcoming game. As we all know and as the title implies, this game is about the character called Gollum and players get to control it throughout the game.
Review of the Trailer
The new trailer is about 48 seconds which shows the character Smeagol moving lonely in the lands of Mordor. As we saw earlier, it’s a stealth game where players have to hide themselves from the others in the game and added to that Gollum is also a coward and malicious character in Lord of Rings. So in trailer, the character moves around the lands of Mordor and hides it from other creatures like spiders. Though this trailer didn’t reveal the whole game play, it gives us some details about the character. This trailer gives us nothing new expect the visual features of the Gollum, which is really great.
Lord of Rings Gollum by Daedalic Entertainment is in development and it is expected to be released during 2022. It is going to be released in Xbox one, Microsoft windows, Xbox one, Xbox series X/S, Play Station 4, Play Station 5, Nintendo switch and PC.
Lord of Rings Gollum must be cautious while adding new things into the game. As J.R.R.Tolkien’s story telling is strong and popular, they must give an interesting game play so that players can stick to it.
