Doom Eternal Next gen Upgrade
Doom Eternal is coming to Play Station 5 and Xbox Series X/S, due to which the game copy of Play Station 4 and Xbox One, was upgraded. In addition to this upgradation, the fact that it is totally free is getting a hype among the fans. Though the arrival of the enhanced version is confirmed it won’t be out until the launch of consoles. Doom Eternal gave out the message and the process explanation through a blog post.
Doom Eternal and The Elder Scrolls Online will be the first to make history via this generational leap. The visual enhancements of this next-gen game will not be out soon but the date will be out later.
This upgrade will be available to both the physical and digital versions of the game. The upgrade’s release dates are not out yet but the studio has said, they will surely confirm the upgrade’s availability.
The console copies will transfer only to the respective next-gen consoles. This means that Xbox One copies will go to Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S while Play Station 4 copies will go for Play Station 5. Although, you must note that both the console versions will need the original disc during physical copies upgrading process. This implies, getting a digital edition of the next-gen consoles will not enable you to upgrade it with physical copies of the game.
Long story short, physical copies upgrading in next-gen consoles will be possible with disc drives. Similarly, the digital copies will just need a new download.

The key highlight of this upgrade is that it is totally free. Extra contents, DLC and every other part of the game will be available in new consoles for free of cost. All you have to do, is wait for the upgrade and that’s not a big deal if you are good in having some patience.
