Targeting Adjuster Destiny 2
As the name suggests, this is a mod for your weapon that somehow enhances your targeting ability. Sound simple enough? Well, it’s not.
First of all, let’s see what Bungie officially tells us about the mod. The game introduces the mod as “This weapon gains better target acquisition.”
It is a legendary mod introduced in season 4 and can be obtained by leveling up acquisitions with banshee-44.
Bungie has a habit of not telling clearly what exactly gets buffed up and by how many points due to a mod. The same is the case with the targeting adjuster mod.
But on a little digging, we found out what this mod actually does. Here’s what we found.

What does the Mod Actually Do??
Targeting adjuster mod actually buffs the aim of any weapon applied to by a unit of 5. now, this may not seem like much, it is actually quite useful.
The aim assist buffing helps to buff up two things:
- Bullet magnetism
- Reticle stickiness
Bullet magnetism refers to the ability in which your shot bullet on being near an enemy moves towards it, that is to say, the bullet actually curves a little towards the enemy, so even if your shot is a little off, you’ll hit him!!!
Reticle stickiness in simple terms makes it hard for your crosshair to move away from an enemy. This means that the crosshair will show a little resistance to move sideways or away from the enemy during a movement. This further helps the player to aim while moving.
So, the targeting adjuster mod actually enhances your weapon’s two qualities and provides you with a much better aim.
