Phantasy star online 2 is a Massive Role-playing and Action Role-playing game in the Phantasy Star series published and developed by Sega. This game was initially released on the 4th of July 2012, and on Us, it was released earlier this year on 27th May 2020.  This game is available for All platforms, including Ios and Android.

In phantasy Star online 2, the classes are directing a character’s stats and abilities. There are total or classes in-game, which is divided into two subclasses. The two subclasses are Basic classes and successor classes. A player can change their classes in ARKs Lobby at the class counter, With an independent leveling up feature for each character. While completing the Koffie’s Subclass License order, a player can also select a Successors class hero.

Basic classes

The basic classes consist of 9 classes, and you can select 6 of them, which are: –

  • Hunter

    Hunter Class is a strong type of class with Higher Health points and defenses. Their other skills are melee combat and Grasping enemies’ attention. You can select this class on the Character Creation menu.

    This class uses weapons like Sword, Partizan, Wired lance, Gunslash.

  • Fighter

    Fighter class is a Close-range Fighting class with a higher Striking attack Dealing with a massive amount of damage in less time. You cannot select this class in the Character Creation menu though it can be switched to any time during the game in progress.

    This class uses weapons like Double saber, Twin Dagger, Knuckles, Gunslash.

  • Ranger

    Ranger class is a long-range Attacking class with a Higher Range attack damage. This Class specializes in close to mid-range combat. Ranger class can be selected on the Character Creation menu.

    This class uses weapons like Assault Rifles, Launchers, Gunslash.

  • Gunner

    Gunner class deals a Massive amount of Ranges attack, and just like the ranger class, it also specializes the close to mid-range combat. Though you cannot select this class in the Character Creation menu, it can be switched to any time during the game in progress.

    This class uses weapons like Twin Machinegun, Assault Rifle, Gunslash.

  • Force

    Force class Is a magician type class with long-range Technical Attack Damage. This class has access to all elements’ techniques, which only benefits in Fire Ice and Bolt(Shock) damage. You can select this class on the Character Creation menu.

    This class uses weapons like Wands, Talis, Gunslash.

  • techer

    Techer is a magician type with close range Technical Attack Damage. This class successfully Supports and strike enemies with its wands. You cannot select this class in the Character Creation menu though it can be switched to any time during the game in progress.

    This class uses weapons like Wands, Bullet Bow, Gunslash.

  • Braver

    Braver class features a high Striking attack and  Range Attack Damage, Prioritizing both close and long-range combats Depending on the situation. This class was introduced in  Code: Episode 2 DLC. You can select this class on the Character Creation menu if you have the DLC.

    This class uses weapons like Katana, Bullet Bow, Gunslash.

  • Bouncer

    Bouncer class Features and highest Striking Attack and Technical Attack Damage, Prioritizing the Close Range combat and Access to Techniques. This class was introduced in  Mission: Episode 3 DLC. You can select this class on the Character Creation menu if you have the DLC.

    This class uses weapons like Dual Blades, Jet Boots, Gunslash.

  • Summoner

    Summoner class does not focus on any weapon damage. It summons pets and supports them in combat. This class was introduced in  Reborn: Episode 4 DLC. You can select this class on the Character Creation menu if you have the DLC.

Successor Classes

Successor classes consist of only 3 classes, but you need to complete the koffie’s Successor class Unlocking trial before selecting the successor class. The requirements to select the successor class are raising at least Two basic class characters raised to level 75. They Reuse the weapons from the subclasses but with a unique set of Photon arts available only t other successor class.

The three Successor classes are:-

  • Hero

    Hero Successor class was introduced for Heroes: Episode 5. It can switch weapons during combat smoothly to get the best of all the weapons, Primarily focusing on dealing the greatest damage quickly. This class can also use techniques, But you can’t be used as a subclass.

    This successor class uses weapons like Sword, twin machinegun, Talis, Gunslash.

  • phantom

    Phantom successor class was the first successor class introduced for Stars: Episode 6. It can utilize multiple weapons specializing in either close or long-range Combat according to the situation. This class can also use techniques and is also available as a subclass.

    This successor class uses weapons like Katana, Assault Rifle, Rod, Gunslash.

  • Etoile

    Etoile Successor class was the second successor Introduced for Stars: Episode 6. This successor class is fully melee oriented. Still, it can take mid-range fights. This class cannot use techniques but is available as a subclass.

    This successor class uses weapons like Double saber, Dual Blades, wand, Gunslash.
