The fanatic Hand cannon Hawkmoon is back in Destiny 2: Beyond Light. Destiny 2 fans can get this hand cannon through a Quest which directly links it to Season of the Hunt story. Let’s get started with this guide of As The Crow Flies quest Destiny 2.
As The Crow Flies quest Destiny 2
You’re required to be a Season 12 pass holder in order to get Hawkmoon. To initiate chase for Hawkmoon, pick As The Crow Flies quest from the good old Spider who’ll task you with first quest from his inventory. The first steps involve finding 5 feathers placed at different locations. The feather make a noise and have visual glow effect on the ground making it easy to spot. This won’t be much of a trouble for we’re here to share its location and detail.
Feather 1- As The Crow Flies quest
The first feather is immediately in front of the cave entrance where you go to talk to the spider in the Tangled Shore.
Feather 2 – As The Crow Flies quest
The second feather is placed on top of a broken building in The Sludge on the EDZ. Search for an empty walkway sticking out of the broken building, climb up and you’ll have the second feather.
Feather 3 – As The Crow Flies quest
The third feather is on the Cosmodrome. As soon you spawn in, right turn 90 degrees and jump straight up onto the broken pillar in the corner of the room. The feather will be placed on the top.
Feather 4 – As The Crow Flies quest
The feather number four will be located in The Dreaming City. Start making your way to Blind Well and right before you enter the first Gateway, the feather will be placed on the left.
Feather 5- As The Crow Flies quest
The final feather will be obtained from The Shrine of Oryx. Just make your way down to the shrine passing through Moon Tunnels. You’ll be able to sot the feather at the left side of the shrine room near the stairs.
STEP 2- Let Loose thy Talons Quest
The next step leads you back to the beginning where it started, i.e. The Crow in the Tangled shore. Take the feathers along with you to him and he’ll assign you the next mission i.e. LET LOOSE THY TALONS
CRY FROM BEYOND MISSION
The first mission of LET LOOSE THY TALONS requires you to finish Cry from the Beyond mission in EDZ part of the Sludge. This is a part combat and part platforming mission which will take about maximum of 10 minutes. It’ll lead you to the Effigy of The Hawkmoon. Pick it up and reach back to The Crow.
STEP 3 – COLLECT ORBS OF POWER
Next step is to generate or collect 50 Orbs Of Power. You can achieve this anywhere, just grab a primary weapon that is master-worked for this kinda thing. After you have it, head back to Crow.
STEP 4 – INVESTIGATE TROSTLAND
The next step takes you to Trostland on the EDZ to investigate more feathers. This is quite an easy stage. You’ll go into the new area and explore to find all the feathers. It is pretty much a straight-forward task for the location of the feathers is provided on the map.
After collecting the required feathers, you’ll need to kill some Taken targets but that should not be a problem. This leads to our favourite guy back in Tangled Shore, yeah you guessed it right, The Crow.
STEP 5 – KILL CHAMPIONS OR GUARDIANS
The next part is the toughest of all. This mission in Destiny 2 requires you to combat Champions or Guardians in Crucible or Gambit matches to progress. Champions will get you 3%, Guardians get you 0.5%, that means you’ll have to make 200 Guardian kills or 34 Champion kills. We suggest you take off this mission going in a group of 3 into Master Lost Sectors as there are a fair amount of champions in there.
STEP 6 – THE CROW AND THE HAWK MISSION
This will eventually lead you to the next step, The Crow and The Hawk Mission. You gotta head back to The Sludge to start with it. You’ll have to follow the hawks in order to progress.
At the very end of this mission in Destiny 2, you will receive Hawkmoon but will also have to do one more combat sequence. After you are done with that, you have magnificently terminated the quest. Make sure you have an inventory slot for Hawkmoon, that will be found in the Kinetic slot.
