Xiaomi Phones Dead After Update
The Mi A3 version was released in 2020 along with Mi A2, and Mi A3 which were relatively market hits, compared to the Mi A3 edition. Users of the Mi A3 edition took to social media to complain about the glitches and problems they were facing after installing the Android update. Some users remarked that their Mi A3 phone froze or went dead following the recent Android 11 update. A petition on change.org was also started by distressed users who wanted Xiaomi to address the issue as fast as possible. Those who went to Xiaomi service centre for repair lamented they were being charged rs 11796 for the problem occurring through no fault of their own.

Xiaomi’s Response To Glitches And User Dissatisfaction
Xiaomi recently addressed the issue and offered consolation to the Mi A3 users whose phones bricked after the update. They have since halted the rollout of Mi A3 phones. Xiaomi is offering repair services of Mi A3 in any Xiaomi centres in the country, both within and beyond warranty for free. We suggest the Mi A3 users approach a Xiaomi repair centre at the earliest to get their phones fixed(those who have updated their phones to Android 11).
Mi A3 was launched in India for a price of Rs.12,999. This is not the only time Mi A3 had glitches and faults. Earlier, users of Mi A3 remarked that a previous update broke the dual-sim functionality of the phone. The Mi-series from Xiaomi has received complaints of bugs and faults from the start.
