Destiny 2 New Year event 2021
Destiny 2 is a first-person shooter, a free-to-play video game that features a multiplayer mode. It was developed and published by Bungie and Activision, respectively. Since it got fame and name in the gaming, it was released in a variety of platforms.
Destiny 2 begins its Christmas and new year eve together, from December 15 this year (2020) and its name is – The Dawning. It will last up to January 5th, 2021, till the day ends. The players gather around winter holiday centre of gift giving-The Tower for this Dawning event and have a fun time by throwing snowballs on each other. The players will have access to holiday-themed items from the in-game shop as soon as the event begins.
On January 5th, 2021 an NPC named Eva Lavante comes to this place and provide everyone with Holiday Ovens. Once the player gets the, they have to battle out and defeat their opponents to collect the ingredients. Once the ingredient comes to your hand, bake it in the oven and produce special Holiday cookies. The players will have to distribute these cookies to other in-game non-player characters and simultaneously complete the new missions. On doing so, you will be able to generate a “Dawning Spirit”. With the increase in the generation of spirits, there will be an increase in rewards that you will be obtaining from Eva.
Rewards for the Year 2021
Participating in such events that occur during special occasions have plenty of exclusive rewards available. One such reward for taking part in The Dawning is a void weapon named- The Glacioclasm which is a newly released fusion rifle.
The players will get an Exotic ship for their guardians if they take part in the event and generate ample spirits. This ship is compatible with your customisation like adding engine effects, anime shaders, etc.
You can get your hands on the three variety of ghost shells by travelling to Eververse storefront with a companion.
Other rewards include two new sparrows and brand new outfits for the Titans, Hunters and Warlocks.
