PlayStation 5 Consoles Supply Might Not Improve Till 2023!
Global chip shortage has taken a toll on every company, including major companies and Sony is one of them.

Global Chip Shortage
The world is going through a global chip shortage and things are not looking good. Unless we don’t find a way around it, things will stay hasty and there’s nothing that can be done about it. The fact that anything we around us uses chips these days- from your phone to a lightbulb. From your TV remote to the fridge that you use for drinking cold water, and this fact is why we can see this is no small issue but can be hazardous.
Sony in Problem
Companies, even those who have billions of dollars are on their knees because of these issues, and Sony is one of them. Their PlayStation has a huge demand, yet they cannot supply it and meet requirements because of a shortage of chips.
Sony warned some group about the situation and according to Bloomberg, in the briefing, they said that:
“I don’t think demand is calming down this year and even if we secure a lot more devices and produce many more units of the PlayStation 5 next year,” Chief Financial Officer Hiroki Totoki reportedly said at the briefing, “our supply wouldn’t be able to catch up with demand.”
From analysis, we can not that shares are dropped about 8% since the earnings report on April 28, after rising 75% over the previous year.
Rival company Nintendo also said last week that there can be a problem in supply due to a shortage of components, that is, a chip.
Last Words
As this problem goes on, we can expect the supply to be harsher, but eventually, it will get alright. That, we can hope.
