Xiaomi has been a household name for quite a few years now, when it comes to mobile phones. While the Mi fans await the launch of the new Mi 11 series phones, there is something new coming up from the company. They are calling it the ‘X Series’.
Xiaomi X Series
The new series coming from Xiaomi will likely have the Mi 11X as the first device. Manu Kumar Jain has revealed the new series via his Twitter account. He has also described the newcomer series as “Xtreme performance, Xceptional display, camera & Sound, Xquisite design and Xclusive/customized for India”. By the looks of it, the phones in this series can come in customizable options in India. Xiaomi is popular for launching phones in various variants, and we can get to see just that with the X Series.
Also, the tags say that the phones are coming with Snapdragon processors. The flagship series is launching in India on 23rd April.
Mi 11X Specifications and Price
The Mi 11X comes in the range of upper mid-range devices. The phone is packed with a 6.67 inch AMOLED display, with an impressive 120Hz refresh rate. The triple camera setup contains a 48 MP primary camera, an 8MP ultra-wide sensor and a 5MP macro lens. The front camera is 32MP. The phone packs a 4520 mAh battery with a 33W fast charging support, having QuickCharge 3+. It gets Android 11 out of the box, and runs on MIUI12.
The phone has a powerful 7nm Octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 chipset and Adreno 650 GPU. The processor cores are:
1 x 3.2GHz, 3 x 2.4 GHz, 4 x 1.8 GHz, which is enough for all heavy games to run in the phone. While there is no card slot, the phone comes at 128GB or 256GB storage options, with 6GB, 8GB and 12GB RAM variants.
The phone also contains a variety of sensors, including a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, gyroscope, compass and colour spectrum sensors.
The phone can be expected at a price tag of around 30k in India. Though we have to wait until its release to know what Mi really brings in its X Series, we can expect it to be ruler in the flagship market. The phone will have competitors from many smartphone brands, like Samsung and Nokia. As a matter of fact, Nokia has released six new phones on 9th April, and two of them can be direct competitors of the Mi 11X.
