Exploding kittens is a masterpiece of a card game created by Elan Lee, Matthew Inman from the popular comics site The Oatmeal, and Shane Small.
It’s a UNO like fun strategic card game, with a ton more stuff to do and more interesting. Suitable for all ages, young or old, it’s a delight- especially for people who like card games and cat lovers (or anyone who doesn’t dislike cats!)
This game comes in First, Original and NSFW Edition, and was already available to Mobile devices. And now, it’s come on Nintendo Switch as well for only $10.

How to Play
In this game of 2-5 players, each player is given a number of cards, and the rest deck is put down. Then players have to draw a card from the deck, one by one and hope it’s not exploding-kitten-card, as if you get this card you’ll explode!(not literally, but you’ll be out of the game.) Though if you have one of these diffuse cards, then you can redeem yourself after you get the explosion card.
There are other cards that do other actions, like the “skip card” which lets you skip your turn in case you fear the card you’ll draw would be an exploding card. But if the next person who now has to draw has a “Nope card” can use it and then the action of the card you used would be reversed, and you’ll have to play your chance. confusing? It’s much easier to understand when you play to play the game. These cards like taco cat, attack, shuffle, etc make this game a lot more interesting and a ton of fun.
The whole premise of the game revolves you avoiding the explosion card, and whoever doesn’t explode till the end wins the game.
