Transmog is under progress says the blog post of Bungie. It is actually a typical method that uses a current piece of protection and keeps the item fixed. Later, it redesigns the guard to follow the shape of another piece, without losing the originality. This idea was already a part of the game Destiny 2. But now Bungie is looking towards expanding it towards all the armors/guards in the game.
