Remedy Entertainment is a company that specializes in entertainment. It all started with the Max Payne series. Max Payne would be remodeled, the company uncovered on Wednesday. And then there’s Max Payne 2: Max Payne’s Fall. Rockstar Games collaborated on this project.
In a statement, Remedy CEO Tero Virtala said: “New version.” “We’re interested in collaborating with our friends at Rockstar Games once more to deliver the iconic Max Payne story, combat, and ambiance back to gamers in innovative ways,” says the studio.
After the iconic Max Payne, Remedy and Rockstar worked on Max Payne 2Capture, which takes up where the iconic developer left off, as per the creators. Max Payne 3, released in 2012, was developed by Rockstar Games.
Max Payne and Max Payne 2 are two sequels to the original Max Payne. As per the press release, it will be launched as a standalone title on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X, with a budget similar to Remedy’s past AAA projects. The updated models will be driven by Remedy’s Northlight engine, which also powers Quantum Break and the monitoring.
There’s no information on when the updated versions will be available, but the project looks to be in the “concept development stage.”
