4A Games have finally brought Metro Exodus to macOS devices. As they head to launch a new PlayStation 5 version this year, we highlight the key features of the game and its gameplay.
An Open-World Game That Is Stunning

Metro Exodus does not disappoint the open-world explorers. One of the best shooting games and easily the best Metro games ever, the game have many things to do inside. It contains survival and stealth elements too, which makes the package more complete. The previous titles were mostly confined to the underground rails. This time, 4A has done a great job with the surface environment too.
There is the Volga River and the Caspian Sea, both of them are just gorgeous to look at. The environment is seemingly large, which gives more room for players to explore and fight. You can search for weapons and resources. The snow-filled chilly lands are well created, and the players can almost feel every action happening in the game.
The plot and exploration moves out of the Moscow metro for the first time, and the end product is a relieving piece of the plot.
The Plot (No Spoilers)

Metro games are always praised for their storyline and the direction of the plot. This time, they bring no exceptions. With no spoilers, we can describe certain sections of the game that were impressive. For example, the black storm that filled the sky, followed by the gusts and windy weather. Then the Volga village and the river, where you can feel the chill as you play along. The game has a twist-in-the-tale plot, and towards the end, we find the plot converging towards something.
Also, there are interactions available in the game, and there are lots of ways you can answer questions. given the apocalyptic plot of the story, players expect a horrifying and frightening ending. This has been taken care of by the story writers. The plot is straight and contains a linear storyline, which is actually a highlight for such a game.
The game also contains various subplots, which are also well-written and equally enjoyable.

Final Verdict
Metro Exodus contains a fantastic plot with a big open-world area for players to explore. It also contains the ability to chat and interact with non-playable characters. The graphics are realistic, and the change in gameplay includes bringing the plot outside the metro for the first time. It is actually relaxing to be able to play in the open after hours of darkness underground.
