Although, you all are aware of a comedian and a Tik-Toker @imsofate. A video was recorded by him while sitting on the passenger seat of his car. However, he frequently posts videos related to Fortnite on his social media accounts. But this one hit differently. Further, prior to 14th January, he uploaded a video in which he was showing a Fortnite v- buck card. With a message of advertising the game card. He said,“OK, $19 Fortnite card, who wants it? And yes, I am giving it away. Remember share, share, share. And trolls don’t get blocked.” Moreover, the video was recorded in a laggy effect. The video was deleted from the TikTok account but later uploaded on the YouTube channel by @Crawlz. Further, this man is now know as @mrblocku on TikTok now.
On January 15, this video was edited by 8-BitAnt and uploaded on YouTube. This was the first incident of editing and turning into a meme. But later it becomes a new trend. 8-BitAnt uploaded its two more edition that was done differently. These new editions have crossed more than 6000 views in a week. Similarly, on 4th of February, @Maxmoefoe tweeted the lines from the original video and attained 19000 likes along with 1800 retweets in seventeen hours.
However, the intention behind this $19 dollar Fortnite card meme was not cleared. But @mrblocku take memes as a way to laugh and remove toxicity.
