So, lets talk about Stardew Valley Random Seed.
Stardew Valley Random Seed
In the game, there is a option called advance game option, which is in the bottom left of character creation menu. In that, you can find a option called Random Seed. Random seed is the seed used to randomise the game world.
Stardew Valley RNG
Before getting to know about random seed in Stardew Valley, let’s see some details about RNG. Random Number Generator (RNG) is the algorithm that produces random numbers. In video games, these random numbers are used to random events which make the gameplay fresh, interesting and to deprive monopoly in the game. Algorithms needs some variables so that it can produce random values, those variables has to be changing. So it take these variables from the internal clock timings, number of letters in your character name and even from the sequence of buttons you pressed since the game starts.
Random Events Vs Random Seed
As we all knew, Stardew Valley have these random events which makes the game more interesting. It happens during the night time of the game play. There may be normal random events like earthquake, bundle completion, crop fairy, witch, meteorite, strange capsules and stone owl. There may be some personal random events like child delivery, spouse asks for child, birth of farm animals and wild animals attack. As we have discussed before, Stardew Valley uses RNG in it’s gameplay, so the algorithm needs the variables to produce random values. For this reason why we have random seed in advanced options, we can enter numbers upto 9, which acts as a variable to the RNG algorithm. By means of experienced game play, you can crack this algorithm as the positive random events will be inbetween the number 1 to 9. So this Random seed may be the reason to your Random events in Stardew Valley.
