Andreson “444” Santos popularly known as Bob was the 25 years old Brazilian Dota 2 pro player who played for PaiN Gaming company. He was best known for his time competing with PaiN Gaming at events like EPICCENTER Major Dreamleague season 13. This organisation dropped it’s roster on April 9, 2020.
Dota 2 Pro 444 dies due to Covid 19!
In Twitter, PaiN Gaming tweeted their grievances of lossing their Pro player “444” popularly known as Bob. They said” Today we lost Bob to COVID-19. We’re eternally grateful for your help in building another chapter of our story on Dota 2. You’re an incredible person and we’ll miss you immeasurably. We can’t believe you were ripped from us so prematurely. Lucky are those who had a chance to know you and who had the honor of seeing you play. Our hearts and thoughts are with your family. Rest in peace, 444.”
Bob tested positive for COVID-19 with his three more family members during the last month.
Effect of COVID-19
COVID-19 has been a great disaster to the men all over the world. It marred lot of lives by it’s cruel spread all over the world. In addition to that, “444” had also affected by COVID-19, due to lack of ICU beds his treatment and recovery split between hospital and his home. His sister informed to Globo Esporte, that he suffered from symptoms of Pneumonia, his lungs got 75% affected. On January 21, Brazilian Dota community collected $1,200 to help “444” for the purchase of medicines. Thanks to those good souls, so he could breathe for some more days. On Saturday, his breathing issues got worsened, he moved to ICU, but unfortunately he died. May his soul Rest in Piece. Even after parting from PaiN, “444” remained as an advocate for South American and served as a integral part of Brazilian community.
