How did the leak happen ?
- Just a few hours back game informer put up a post with a poster announcing the name of the new season and several information about the new season’s plot.
- The tweet also had a gameinformer link attached which reportedly had all the details about the season. The tweet was taken down almost instantly.
- However the internet is now rife with the screen shots of the tweet and players forming all sorts of theories based on it. here is the snapshot of the poster released:

There has been no comment from either game informer or from Bungie, the developer of the game, regarding the incident. This had led to people believing that the post was actually a genuine mistake.
if that is really the case we now know quite a lot of about the new season then:
- The first thing we can say for sure is that the season will be called “the season of the chosen” as this was clearly mentioned on the poster.
- Curiously chosen was also the name of the last base campaign mission of the game. This has led people to believe that this season may be continuing the story after the final fight with Dominus Ghaul.
- The location shown in the poster clearly resembles Nessus, So a lot of action will be based there it seems.
- There is a large looming character in the background with horns. This clearly means that the antagonist this season is going to be a cabal. The horns point towards a female cabal. And many people have speculated that this may be Capital, Callus’ daughter.
- The poster also features a concerned looking Zavala in the foreground. This confirms that Zavala is going to have a centrestage in this season’s events.
- The twitter post mentioned that the old strikes will be making a comeback this season and also some new strikes will be added.
