As per a few reports, OnePlus is all set to launch its very first wearable fitness band. OnePlus is one of the leading Chinese companies. The name of the band is decided to be OnePlus Band. It is expected that the band can be launched along with the watch and the launch of the OnePlus 9 that could be in March of this year.

The band can be launched in India first. The price of the band is fixed at around $40 or Rs 3000. The claim was made by Android central that stated that the company has come with its first wearable band. The band is all set to launch in the first quarter of the year 2021 as per the report. The basic idea behind the expected launch of the OnePlus band could be fighting against their biggest rivals, Xioami.

Xiaomi already has a fitness band at an affordable price, so the launch is seen as a direct competition to them. The band is expected to have the same features as Mi Band 5. The band is all set to feature an AMOLED screen, long battery life, and is expected to be water-resistant. One plus had been working on its smartwatch for a long and eagerly wants to enter the smart wearable segment. This is not been hidden from anyone that OnePlus is working on smartwatches since 2015.
The company’s CEO is also seen stating that they collaborate with google and want to improve the smartwatches and televisions. OnePlus is expected to launch its smartwatch with a round dial this year only. It will be interesting to see if the OnePlus Band, Oneplus watch, and Oneplus 9 series are released together or not. Maybe the company decides to release them at a certain break and keeping the suspense level high among all the OnePlus fans.
