This year, we saw the entry of quite a few 5G smartphones. According to experts, in 2021, approximately 10% of India’s phones will support 5G, compared to 3 million shipped units in the year 2019.
Brands including Xiaomi, Realme, OnePlus, and Samsung will be releasing numerous affordable 5G phone models this year. It will give customers more options. This article will be talking about those 5G smartphones, which may release this year.

Upcoming 5G Smartphones:
- MI 10i: It will be Xiaomi’s first 5G phone in the midrange segment. The rumors say that Snapdragon 750 G will power it. It will sport a 6.67 inch full HD display. It will have a 108 MP Quad Camera Setup. MI 10i is launching on 5th January in India.
- Samsung Galaxy A52: This 5G smartphone from Samsung is expected to come with Snapdragon 750G. It will have a Super AMOLED display with a screen of 6.5 inches. Samsung Galaxy A52 will have a quad camera setup(64+12+5+5 MP).
- Realme X7 Pro: Realme is often touted as a competitor of Xiaomi. Both companies are known for their aggressive pricing. Through the Realme X7 Pro, Realme will step its foot in the 5G Mid-Range segment. Realme X7 Pro is expected to come with Mediatek Dimensity 1000+ chipset. It will be the first smartphone in INDIA to come with the Density Chip.
- Xiaomi Mi 11: Xiaomi has launched its latest flagship Mi 11 in China. They will soon be launching it in India. Mi 11 comes with the latest Snapdragon 888. It contains the flagship 108MP camera. Mi 11 comes with 12GB of RAM and storage up to 256GB of UFS 3.1.
- Samsung Galaxy S21: In January, a month before its normal date, Samsung is expected to launch its flagship Galaxy S21 series. The regular Galaxy S21, the Galaxy S21+, and Galaxy S21 Ultra are expected to be included in the new S21 series. Snapdragon 888 has been used in the US. While in the Indian market, s21 might come with the Exynos 2100 chip.
